Eosinophilic myocarditis without hypereosinophilia accompanied by giant cell infiltration
A 53-year-old woman with a history of allergic disease was admitted to our hospital because of syncope induced by sustained ventricular tachycardia. The clinical course and the laboratory data did not correspond to those of acute myocarditis. Although eosinophils in the peripheral blood count were not increased, the diagnosis of eosinophilic myocarditis was made following a right ventricular en...

متن کاملGastric Fibroma with Eosinophilic Infiltration.
Benign gastric tumours are infrequent. In Eusterman and Senty's (1922) series they amounted to about 0-6% of all gastric neoplasms. A higher incidence has been observed by other workers. Lockwood (1932) encountered benign gastric neoplasms in 45% of his cases, Eliason and Wright (1925) in 4.12%, Marshall (1955) in 4-8%, and Stout (1953) in 16-9% (the last high figure no doubt being due to selec...
متن کاملEosinophilic Liver Infiltration
Eosinophilic liver infiltration is a commonly encountered focal eosinophil-related inflammation with or without necrosis, which can be seen on computed tomography (CT) in the presence of peripheral eosinophilia. Although this entity has a relatively benign course, it is related to numerable conditions for which diagnosis may be challenging and requires substantial diagnostic work-up for proper ...

FIGURE 4. Twelve lead electrocardiogram taken on the third hospital day. Note mild ST elevation in La, LJ and aVF; prominent and broad R waves in V2Vq; small but wide R wave in VI; marked ST depression in VI-V~. These findings suggest the presence of acute "true" posterior wall myocardial infarction with diaphragmatic extension. The possibility of severe anterior wall ischemia seems unlikely be...
